See car spin tricks

2016-03-09 06:00

CAR SPINNERS will head to the Grassland Arena in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 26 March, to participate in the Easter spin bash reloaded event.

Hosted by the Alpina Boys, the organiser of the event, Boeta Simons, said car lovers will enjoy the sound of roaring engines and tricks by car spinners from all over the country.

Simons said attendees should watch out for Darrion van Wyk, a top car spinner from Welkom who drives a Toyota Corolla with a V8 Lexus engine.

Most of the drivers will be participating in their BMW “Gusheshes” said Simons.

The event will be packed with entertainment for both adults and kids.

Jumping castles for kids and top DJs, such as DJ Tik, have been lined up to entertain the many people expected to attend the event.

According to Simons, half of the profits made at the event will be donated to a charity to give back to the community.

Tickets are sold at R60 and R70 at the gate for adults.

Children under 12 years will pay R40 for a ticket.

People who bring their own cooler boxes will be expected to pay R30 at the entrance.

Simons said only food and non-alcoholic beverages will be sold at the venue. The organiser invited sponsors to contact him to exhibit their products at the event. For tickets, phone Boeta Simons on 072-913-5876 or Nathaniel Swartz on 081-045- 1244.
