A powerful praise and worship prayer service was experienced at Kuruman’s Full Gospel Church led by chaplain, Capt. Koketso Phoko, on Thursday, 27 September.

This took place when the police in the Northern Cape celebrated National Prayer Day for police safety in Mothibistad with members and the community.

The sermon, which many saw as a blessing, was presided by Rev. Norman Raphahlela who also shared a message of hope.

The welcoming address was done by Brig. Kenneth Baloyi (Kuruman station commander), while chaplain Col Kabelo Colane shared the purpose of the day.

Colane also used the platform to share some safety hints with the police members and applauded the community for their support to the police.

Chaplain Lt Col Itumeleng Pudule led a moment of silence and a candle-lighting ceremony for all the fallen heroes in the police.
