The opening of a HomeChoice, South Africa’s number one home retailer opening a showroom in Bloemfontein proved to be a necessary investment in a competitive retail sector.

A strong and popular brand, the retailer marked its investment in the Free State capital with a grand opening on Saturday (06/07) and Sunday (07/07).

This brand-new store is situated in the Middestad Mall on the corner of West Burger and Charles Street and is the seventh showroom in the country.

The retailer invested in Bloemfontein by bringing its range of quality products closer to clients, and creating jobs for 19 staff members.

Customers are guaranteed satisfaction with the quality products, while fully trained personnel simplify the shopping experience. Everything customers want is now at their fingertips and they are guaranteed satisfaction and peace of mind, and with the staff that has full insight of every product will be on hand for better experience.

With this store, HomeChoice meets the growing demand by ensuring that a variety of brands are available.

A wide range of bedding, mink blankets and cookware is available at the store. The retailer range has also grown to include furniture, appliances and luggage.

All products are available on monthly payment terms to suit every buyer’s unique budget.

According to Le Roi van Niekerk, the HomeChoice national retail operations showroom manager, the Bloemfontein store offers customers a better experience.

“As we have been trading in South Africa for over 30 years, we have a large active customer base in the Free State. Our stores are intentionally resource intensive, as we want to give our customers the personal attention and time they deserve to make the right decisions,” said Van Niekerk.

The retailer decided on a full-fledged store in Bloemfontein to meet the growing demand.

“Our strategy is to open stores where we have a strong customer base. This information is at our disposal as we have been trading in South Africa for so many years and know where she lives. Our objective is to establish a store in a high traffic area that uplifts the current environment, while giving our customers the best visual shopping experience possible,” Van Niekerk said.

He said the retailer’s decision to open a showroom in Bloemfontein was led by the growing demand for quality products in the central region.

“Bloemfontein has the second largest informal settlement in South Africa,” said Van Niekerk.

The Bloemfontein showroom gives customers the opportunity to touch and experience top quality products, get expert styling tips, order, collect or pay their accounts in store, return products and apply for a loan or insurance.

“Come visit our store and meet the team. We are here to help you create the home you love.”
