Small businesses to benefit

2020-02-12 06:02

Emerging businesses in South Africa could benefit from the World Economic Forum (WEF).

  • This follows South Africa’s powerful representation at the WEF meeting held on Monday (10/02), where Patrice Motsepe was elected to the board of trustees and Sipho Pityana was appointed as co-chair of the new regional stewardship board for Africa.

They are expected to give South Africa a voice to advocate for financial aid.

This is in line with the national development plan, which is to ensure that envisioned job creation through small businesses becomes a reality.

A white paper which could help South Africa focus some attention on foreign investments was tabled at the meeting.
