BETHLEHEM. – Following their weekend 2-0 defeat to Chippa United, the wounded Free State Stars are hoping to turn the corner when they welcome Ajax Cape Town in the Absa Premier League at the Goble Park Stadium today (24/02) at 16:00.

Ea Lla Koto is facing a tough task of stopping the free-scoring Ajax, which netted three goals over the weekend when they narrowly beat Polokwane City by 3-2.

Saturday’s (20/02) loss saw the Free State Stars dropping to position 10 on the log table with 25 points in 20 games, while Ajax is 8th with 26 points in 19 games. A previous encounter between the two saw Ajax winning by 2-1 on 26 August 2015. Their next match is on 5 March on the Ajax home turf at 18:00.
