The recent renewal of the partnership between the Central University of Technology (CUT), Free State, and the Mangaung Metro delivered its first project of the year, with the installation of a speed bump in President Brand Street to improve the pedestrian safety of students.

A part of this street cuts through the CUT campus and is frequently crossed by students who walk between different facilities.

Many learners from HTS Louis Botha and the Dr Viljoen School also cross this street to get to and back from school and it is therefore a huge improvement to ensure the safety of the students and learners.
