Students awarded for hard work

A total of 29 Hospitality Management students of the Central University of Technology received their qualifications.

Of these graduates, 19 students received their national diploma in Hospitality Management, while ten graduated with a BTech qualification.

This event was followed by the Hotel School’s annual awards ceremony to recognise and honour the excellence of the schools’ top-achieving students.

The recipients were awarded in the following categories: best first-year student, best second-year student, best third-year student, and best BTech student.

The award for the most professional student went to Monique du Preez and Neo Ngubane.

Tsogo Sun awarded bursaries to the value of R28 750 each to Palesa Mosikatsana, Willa Greyling, Esther Kassongo and Zandile Mwanda.

Palesa is pursuing her MTech in Hospitality Management, while the others are registered for the BTech qualification.

Luxury Hotels and Cathsseta also awarded bursaries.
