Students decide to walk the talk

2019-04-10 06:01

A challenge to determine who can walk the furthest in eight weeks, is what four university teams have dedicated themselves to.

The participating teams, of the University of the Free State (UFS), Stellenbosch University (SU), Central University of Technology (CUT) and the North-West University (NWU), are putting their fittest to the test in the 2019 BestMed Pedometer Challenge.

The wellness initiative was launched on Friday (05/04) at the UFS’ campus in Bloemfontein.

The UFS Division for Organisational Development and Employment Wellness within the Department of Human Resources leads the Kovsies team in this journey to health and fitness.
