Teams battle it out

The Interstate Bus Lines (IBL) Development League in Thaba Nchu has reached a climax with two clubs compe­ting to qualify for this year’s promotion play-offs.

UB14 and Sharks will lock horns to determine the team to qualify for the region’s promotion play-off for the SAB League.

The two Thaba Nchu clubs shared the spoils in the previous fixture when they drew by 2 – 2.

The second leg meeting will take place at the Mmabana Stadium on Saturday (09/06).

Kick-off is at 15:00.

The winner will compete against either Bloemfontein, Botshabelo or Dewetsdorp on 23 June.

The IBL Promotional Rural Soccer League is divided into five categories, namely u.13, u.15, u.17, the IBL Safa Promotion League and women’s soccer.

All the winners in the mentioned categories were awarded.

The IBL has been sponsoring this annual soccer league for the past four years. This year the sponsorship value was R120 000.
