Three men killed during weekend nights

THE suspects who stabbed an 18-year-old boy to death in Phase 4 Location, Bloemfontein, are still at large.

According to the police spokesperson, Sgt Ikobeng Hlubi, the deceased was killed on Saturday (19/03) at about 23:50.

According to Hlubi, the deceased and his girlfriend were approached by approximately 20 suspects while they were taking a walk in the streets. The girlfriend managed to run away and alerted the police. The police are investigating a case of murder.

In Phase 9 Location, another male was also found dead. The 30-year-old man was shot in the head and the incident happened in the early hours of Sunday (20/03) morning. A case of murder is also being investigated.

In Phase 5 Location, a 26-year-old male was found in an open field on Monday (21/03) morning with stab wounds in the head. Hlubi said the victim was allegedly taken from his place of residence and killed in the field.

No suspects have been arrested yet and police are investigating a case of murder.

Police are discouraging residents from walking in dangerous areas at night.
