Tournament held in support of campaign

2018-11-28 06:01

The semi-finals of the annual Rihana Moshoeshoe soccer tournament will be played at the AR Abass Stadium on Sunday (02/12) at 11:00.

The finals of the tournament is on 9 December and the entry fee is R10.

The Sol Plaatje Masters Football League calls on members of the community to attend these games and to join in the fight against human trafficking and the 16 Days of Activism of No Violence against Women and Children campaign.

A motorcade, starting at 09:00 ahead of the semi-finals, takes place from Shoprite in Barkly Road next to the Galeshewe circle.

The league has been driving the campaign against human trafficking for the past eight years since the disappearance of Kwena Rehana Moshoeshoe.

The motorcade is aimed at actions to stop this plague of missing children in communities.
