WITHOUT fresh blood flowing in bodyparts, it cannot function.

According to Ingrid Peens, this problem can be treated at their new shop, Nu-Vasqu-Life.

The treatment consists of using an oil, a cream and two pills. Everything is produced naturally.

Peens’ treatment is not commonly available and she has helped many people at her other business in Springs.

“People travel from the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal for the treatment. Some even fly in from Cape Town.”

This inspired her to open a similar business in the Bethlehem Metropolitan Centre.

According to Peens, the treatment helps 95% of her customers.

“We open the veins from the inside and we clean it when it gets calcified, hard and narrow. These deposits have to be removed to restore normal blood flow.”

She regards this as the basis of any treatment – whether it is herbal or medical.

They are registered with the Natural Healers Association (NHA) and the Traditional Healers Organisation (THO).

Customers can book a session with a therapist who will prescribe the required products.

Peens tells her story

“In 2006, I got tick-bite fever and received the wrong medicine, resulting in my blood turning to clots. I went into a coma with organ failure.”

The clots caused her legs and arms to turn black due to no blood flow and gangrene set in.

“My organs recuperated, but my arms and legs stayed discoloured.”

The doctors then decided that it had to be amputated.

Peens went home Z helpless in a nappy and bound to a wheelchair Z and unable to do anything for herself.

“I had to figure out a way to get blood flow back into my arms and legs to keep them.”

She then became her own “guinea pig” and treated herself with these products over a period of a year.

“I came out with all limbs and no infection,” she said.
