Two Kimberley youngsters are once more flying the Diamond City’s flag high.

Quinton Mlaza and Lebogang Zhang Tlhaolakgomo (both 29) are making a mark in the entertainment industry by being part of the new reality gospel show of SABC2 which will air on Sunday nights.

Both were born and bread in the dusty streets of Galeshewe and moved to Johannesburg in 2009 to pursue their dreams in the entertainment industry with the passion of making a success in the industry.

Both will appear in the fun, action and laughter gospel show, OMW, on Sunday, 5 August.

OMW is the abbreviation for Oh My Word and in this show contestants participate in teams to win R50 000 for a charity of their choice.

This remarkable show is also set to highlight the contestants’ knowledge of the Bible and of God.

Mlaza started making trends in the Northern Cape when he first got his big break in 2009 just after matriculating at Galeshewe’s Vuyolwethu High School.

After the completion of his diploma in Business Studies, he moved to Johannesburg to pursue his passion and pride.

He started to appear on the big screens in different SABC productions – including Generations, Rhythm City, Friends like these, Sunday Sun and Tshisa.

Mlaza is currently a radio producer for an online radio station, New Vision Radio Station, a model and motivational speaker.

He and his friend Tlhaolakgomo are reported to be causing a steer in the entertainment industry with their vast personalities and characters.

Tlhaolakgomo is pursuing his career in modelling, including in showbiz.

They are both eager to show the world that the Northern Cape has got much talent, as its youngsters are going out there to make it.
