UFS honours graduates

The University of the Free State’s year-end graduation, which started on Tuesday (10/12), will end today with more qualifications conferred to graduates.

The university also conferred master’s and PhD degrees.

Graduates include those who enrolled for open distance learning for education.

Other graduates are from the following faculties: Humanities; Law; Theology and Religion, Economic and Management Sciences, Natural Sciences and Agricultural Sciences.

The four prominent guest speakers lined up to address the graduates on how to equip themselves to conquer the world of work were Dr Whitfield Green; blind athlete Louzanne Coetzee (world record holder in the 5 000 m event, T11); David Noko, member of the UFS Council and judge in the Supreme Court of Appeal and Justice Mahube Molemela, chancellor of the Central University of Technology.
