Nedbank strongly condemns the pitch invasion and crowd violence that occurred at the Nedbank Cup game on Saturday (21/04).

All those affected by the incident are wished a speedy recovery. No fatal casualties were reported.

The pitch was invaded just after Free State Stars scored its second goal against Kaizer Chiefs.

“We don’t tolerate any acts of violence against any member of society,” Nedbank stated in a media release.

“We all have to remind ourselves of our responsibility to uphold the values of our country, and the examples that our actions set for our youth.”
