The launch of the ninth Mangaung Youth ­Empowerment Week is presented at the ­National Afrikaans Literary Museum and Research Centre from 17:00 until 19:30.

It will take the form of a business networking session, wine tasting and exhibition for entrepreneurs.

The actual Mangaung Youth Empowerment Week event will be held from 21 to 24 March in Bloemfontein.

Mensa South Africa, an international society free from all social distinctions (racial, religious) will host an event for the establishment of a chapter of this high IQ society in Bloemfontein at 10:00 at a venue to be communicated to members of the public on making a booking.

Those interested in attending are advised to make a booking by sending an email to ­admin@mensa.org.za.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses in Bloemfontein present a Christian programme with the theme “Don’t Give up in Doing What is Fine” in the Eunice Primary School hall in Bloemfontein.

It is aimed at helping members of the public understand the use of biblical principles to guide people’s lives.

The programme is divided into two sessions: one presented from 09:30 to 12:00 and one from 13:10 to 16:15.

Sessions will be presented in English and the scriptures will focus and encourage all attendees to keep working good toward all.

A symposium set to start at 10:05 will be presented on the following topics: “Use Social Media Wisely”, “Choose Wholesome Entertainment” and “Invest in a Secure Future”.
