Reaching out to communities and getting involved in charity programmes will be part of the 2019 Bloem Show pageant four category winners’ duties.

They were crowned at the pageant’s glittering ceremony held during the show held from 26 April to 4 May.

This year’s pageant was presented in partnership with eModels.

The winners were Shanen Emam (Ms Windmill Bloem Show), Rhushni Ruiters (Ms Teen Windmill Bloem Show), Blessing Okere (Little Miss Windmill).

Jeanre du Preez, director of eModels, said the winners will have their hands full doing work to support charity organisation Joint Aid Management (JAM), a global movement that has taken on the responsibility to feed approximately 1000 children daily.

“With the Bloem Show pageants our aim is ’to be more than yourself’.

“To think beyond your own needs and see those in need above yourself. To make a lasting impact for a future generation to come,” said Du Preez.

The winners will also help to renovate Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres within the Bloemfontein area.

“We as the Bloem Show pageants and category winners will work hand in hand with JAM to do renovations at the Early Childhood Development centres identified.

“The winners will also play education games with the children at these centres from time to time to ensure they get enough stimulation.”
