Group member and vocalist of the gospel group Joyous Celebration, Puleng March, is set to launch her women’s initiative called Makoti Enkosini in Botshabelo on Saturday (22/04).

This musical and educational project will be staged at the Nicro Hall, Section C. The event will also see the launch of the singer’s nationwide project called Grace Tour, through which she hopes to reach out to society and continue to impact positively on people’s lives. Three prominent guest speakers, who are married, are set to address attendees.

March said she had partnered with the AFM Foundation of Restoration on the Grace Tour of the women’s empowerment initiative Makoti Enkosini. This year’s tour marks five years since she founded the initiative in her home town of Kimberley in the Northern Cape.

“Makoti Enkosini was established to effectively impact on the lives of married women and women who are preparing for marriage.

“It aims to connect women to their spirituality, and empower women to enable them to overcome obstacles and realise greater self-sufficiency,” said March.

She said the focus was on educating women about a number of fundamentals: Godly principles and values, self-worth and love, independence, managing finances, as well as means to start a business. Tickets will be available at R100 at the gate on the day of the event, set to start at 14:00.
