IT was brought to the attention of Express Northern Cape that the wrong name was used for the suspect who was arrested for the murder of Natefo Segoje (15) in Kuruman.

The real name of the suspect is Kagisho “Peace” Segoje and not “Tebogo” as it was stated in the article that appeared on the front page of the 11 May edition of Express Northern Cape.

A family member also confirmed that the suspect and the mother of the deceased are related through their grandparents being siblings.

The bail application of the accused was turned down in the Magistrate’s Court in Kuruman on Monday, 9 May.

The case was postponed for further investigation to Friday, 10 June.
