THE inaugural Plennegy Golf Day took place on Saturday 1 August on a lovely winterand#039;s day.

A totel of 52 players from far and wide took part in what will surely become a prestigious event on our annual golf calendar.

The winners, on a combined betterball score of 92 points, were John and Bheki Mlangeni, MzandileThusi and Goodboy Ngubane. Our thanks to Plennegy for a great corporate day, well organised with wonderful prizes and a scrumptious supper to boot.

Congratulations to Bryan Paul for taking the winnings from happy hour on Friday. Elsie took the Chivas. Ampie and Dumisani also took home some prizes. Thank you to Guy and Lynda Platt from Platt Plant for sponsoring the meal.

Mascor Monthly Mug was played on Saturday 8 August and Mark Scott walked away with the mug for the month. Winning A division was Paul Els on 72 followed by Thokosani Chonco on 74 nett.

B division winners were Mark Scott on 65 nett and Tubby Larkan on 68 nett. Congratulations to the winners and thank you for supporting the day. Please support our sponsors.

Members please note that the restaurant will be open every Sunday from 12pm to 2pm for those who want to enjoy a nice and relaxing Sunday lunch.

Steve Muna lost out on the money as he was not present at the time of the draw. Next attendance draw will be on Friday 21 August with R400 up for grabs. Be here from 6:30 and you could be the lucky winner.
