THE 2015 Moths Golf Day is to raise funds to help maintain the Moths cottages throughout the year and to help those who are less fortunate.

The golf day has always been well supported by the community and we are extremely grateful to people and businesses that continue to help NGOs like the Moths.

It is that time of year when we ask you all to support this cause which will be held on 3 October and any donation, big or small and prize would be most appreciated and welcome.

The golf day consists of teams of two in a better ball format.

For players entrance is R150. Entry list is on the board, so please enter as we would love to have you here.

Thank you to Aheers and Engen for sponsoring the meal on Friday. Happy Hour had a very relaxed atmosphere and it seemed that the holiday mood got a hold of everybody.

The winner of the evening was Paul du Preez who took the cash and Manny walked away with the Chivas. Mr. S McCabe and Nyscha got the consolation prizes.

The big R50 draw rolled over to October as we could not manage to sell all the tickets. Come and get your ticket at the bar as the big R2 500 is still up for grabs.

The restaurant will be open every Sunday from 12pm to 2pm for those that want to enjoy a nice and relaxing Sunday lunch.

The next attendance draw will be on Friday 2 October with R400 up for grabs. Be here from 6.30pm and you could be the lucky winner.

Weekend golf special: R40 for nine holes and R80 for 18 hole when you come and play on a Saturday and Sunday.

Dates to diarise

3 October – MOTH golf day

10 October – Mascor Monthly Mug

24 October – Greytown Classic

30 October – Happy Hour
