Greytown Country Club news

THE popular Greytown Golf Classic will be played on Saturday 24 October at Greytown Country Club. This is our premier golf event every year. Despite the severe drought our greenkeeper, Wally Kohne, has been battling against the odds and doing a great job to present an enjoyable and good course for the competition.

There will be great prizes to be won and the day will be concluded with supper to hopefully celebrate a famous Springbok win over the All Blacks. The organisers have made sure that the World Cup semi-final takes priority. o golfers, join us for an enjoyable day of golf and thereafter share in the incredible rugby atmosphere as the club will surely be packed with Springbok supporters.

Format of the Classic is betterball Stableford and entry is R200 per player. We have morning and afternoon tee-off times available. Get you entry in early as the field is filling up. Please phone Elsie or Sylvester at the Country Club on 033 417 2441 with you and your partner’s names to enter, or contact Marthinus Steyn on 082 506 8580
