LAST Thursday, our Grade R to Grade 3 pupils attended Wembley College’s Junior Primary Inter-schools athletics meeting, and had loads of fun. There was a 60 -metre run, a sack race and an egg-and-spoon race, but the most exciting was the relay race.

For our Grade R pupils it was their first time competing against the four other schools, but Mhleli Ngobese was overjoyed at winning the 60m race. All the Little Oaks gave their best performances. A big thank to Wembley College staff for organising such a wonderful event - we are already looking forward to next year’s event
