MORE international news. Our Grade 10 pupils arrived in Germany last week where they met their host families and settled in to their new surroundings for the next four weeks. They have already toured Ravensburg, where they had a guided tour of the city and the Humpis Quarters (medieval houses and a depiction of life in the Middle Ages), been on a canopy tour at Skywalk Allgäu, visited glass-blowers and been to Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance (visiting the Zeppelin museum, the castle at Meersburg and Birnau Abbey). This week they are spending time with their German partners, experiencing school in German and meeting teachers and dignitaries of Bildungs-Zentrum Nord in Reutlingen.

An opportunity like the Germany Exchange Programme does not often come along - the cultural exchange and the immersion in another culture on another continent are often life-altering experiences - as our exchange groups have shown us over the past 10 years of the exchange programme.

Thank you to Tuta Carriers, PG Mavundla and McCormick for sponsoring the “hoodies”, shirts and caps respectively.

We wish the high school and primary school pupils clear recall and calm and success with the examinations they are writing this week, as we look forward to the next round of sports fixtures, where our teams have distinguished themselves this year
