GREYTOWN Junior principal, staff and governing body bid farewell to Mrs A. Van Rooyen, who taught at our school for many years as she has taken a transfer to a school in Durban. We place on record her hard work and dedication and wish her well at her new school.

On Saturday 18 April, the U11 rugby boys played against Wembley­ College. The boys put on a dominant display of running rugby and scored four tries to win the match 20-0.

On Saturday 18 April Greytown Junior U13 played against Wembley College. Greytown and Wembley gained much-needed experience with Greytown merging victorious.

On 18 April the U13 hockey girls took part in a tournament at Wembley College. The girls played five games, they drew one and lost four. Even though they did not win any games the girls played well. Alliyah Hattia scored two goals.

Netball district trial

On Thursday 16 April the netball girls participated at district level and played well.

The girls selected are U12, Amanda Masimula, U13, Bandile Ngobese and Asimethembe Khumalo.

The girls will now go to Durban (Hoy Park) for provincial trials on 24 April
