MICHAELA Dutton was awarded KZN Midlands swimming colours­. She represented the KZN Midlands swimming team at the KZN provincial trials at Kings Park in Durban on 9 May. She swam in the 50m breaststroke, 50m backstroke, 50m freestyle and 100m backstroke.

On Wednesday 27 May the U13 rugby boys travelled to Pietermaritzburg and played against Bisley Park. Greytown Junior got off to a slow start with Bisley scoring first. Greytown’s forwards gathered momentum early in the second­ half and Zusiphe Ngubane broke through the score. Greytown maintained the pressure and Sydwell Mathonsi scored. The final score was 10-7 in Greytown Junior’s favour.

The U10 rugby boys played against St Charles in Pietermaritzburg. They suffered a massive defeat, but tried their best and have learnt a lot.
