ON Thursday 27 May at 1pm two minibus taxis drove into the parking at Kranskop Primary School. Pupils were excited because the soccer and netball teams from Domino Servite, accompanied by Bruno Hlongwane (sports organiser) and Mr Pretorius, streamed from the vehicle ready to take on Kranskop Primary teams.

After introductions and determining the order of the afternoon, teams met on the soccer and netball fields. Spectators, pupils, teachers and team managers rooted for their teams and there were loud cheers when goals were scored. The teams thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Final results:

Soccer U13 boys’ 1-0 to Kranskop.

U15 boys’ 1-1 draw.

Netball: U15 A team 9-14 to Kranskop.

U15 B team 6-17 to Kranskop
