INTERNATIONAL Literacy Day provided a perfect opportunity for children to rediscover the joys of reading while raising awareness for those without access to adequate reading resources.

In the spirit of this day, every child at New Hanover Prep School was encouraged to donate a book or books to the new library currently being established at our neighbouring farm school.

The children then shared in the joy of the new books by reading them to the children on International Literacy Day
