MEET the charming Miss Ellie, the newest arrival at Brendaand#039;s Barnyard. Seven years old and due to foal in November this friendly young lady loves having a fuss made of her.

Miss Ellie, a miniature horse, has just arrived from a Free State stud farm and joins the wide array of interesting and fun animals in the barnyard.

The Barnyard is open for school groups, birthday parties and others events providing prior arrangements have been made by phoning Brenda at 082 677 7200 - this is essential please.

Not only is it fun, it is also educational for children. There are various breeds of chickens, ducks with ducklings, rabbits, goats and sheep with lambs.

Children can, under supervision, feed the animals and collect eggs from the free-range laying chickens.

Brenda, who is not only a well-known author, but also sheepdog trainer, will give groups a demonstration of dogs herding sheep, jumping, tracking and fly ball.

Entrance R15 for children and R20 for adults.

Take along a picnic and enjoy a few hours at Brendaand#039;s Barnyard
