SADTU Greytown hosted a successful conference to celebrate Menand#039;s Month with the theme “Kings honour all things”.

Held on 3 July in Greytown, more than 70 male teachers, including school principals attended this special gathering.

Invited guests included speakers from the Department of Health, Sadtu regional personnel and district officials from teacher development.

As professionals the men were motivated to be worthy examples and role models to the children in their care.

The SADTU Greytown branch is very proud at the achievement of the founder and former chairperson, Nozipho Mkhize, who has been appointed chief circuit manager of Umvoti CMC.

Nosipho studied at Indumisa College and UKZN and holds a Masters degree in education. A spokesperson for Greytown SADTU­ said: and#034;We look forward to an amicable and productive working relationship that will transform our CMC.”
