TO celebrate 10 years of providing hospitality to hundreds of visitors to Greytown, The Rawstornes@268 launched its new function venue at a recent cocktail party.

Started 10 years ago by Sue and her late husband, Dudley, with one room and one bed, the guesthouse has grown successfully and steadily since. With son John as a partner the business now has 10 units all with air conditioning, kettle, fridge, microwave and flat-screen TV. The Bandamp;B also offer free Wi-Fi throughout which, according to a recent survey, is the first item on the list of requirements of Bandamp;B guests.

Over the years many guests have returned to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the setting surrounded by a beautiful indigenous garden abounding with birds and butterflies.

In the dining area that overlooks one of the two pools the establishment has, guests can enjoy a full English breakfast and dinner on prior request. Braai facilities are available and the newly opened functions room is ideal for mini-conferences and weddings seating up to 100 people.

Team Rawstorne doesn’t rest on their achievements, but continue to work hard towards ensuring that the next 10 years are even more successful
