MEMBERS of the Harmony Retreat, together with various government departments, held an awareness programme for Corteva employees in Greytown to raise awareness of social crime prevention and safety, substance abuse and treatment options. Lucky Gcaba, a social worker from Harmony Retreat, organised the function.

Other people that attended the function included members of the Greytown SAPS, Department of Health, Department of Correctional Services, Life Line, and Metropolitan.

Gcaba said: “It was a wellness programme for the employees from Pannar Seed because we believe that they do not get time to attend such programmes. It’s one of the programmes that we embark on every year.

“The programme was a huge success.

“We have a variety of programmes at Harmony Retreat. This month we are going to embark on programmes that relate to men’s health since July is men’s month.”
