UMVOTI Aids Centre re-opened on January 8 to a six-hectare grass and weed overgrowth on the lawn, Qiniso Park and the vegetable garden.

General manager at the centre Sithuthukile Mchunu said: “Just as we were about to get stuck in, both our trimmers had to go for repairs.

“However, Pannar (Pty) Ltd heard our cry for help and graciously answered by paying garden services to trim our entire lawn, which took two Saturdays to complete. We are truly humbled by this gesture and hold the Pannar team in very high esteem.

“The Centre has come alive once more; it looks new, neat and geared-up full steam ahead into the New Year.

“Our jungle gym stands bright, colourful and safe for the children to play in once again.” — Supplied.
