2016-03-30 06:00

TWO accidents were reported last week by Alert EMS personnel who attended, together with Kranskop police. On the afternoon of 17 March in the Wozi area, a water truck, travelling down the hill on the P15, landed on its side when the brakes failed and the driver lost control.

The driver was entrapped and was extracted by Alert EMS in a serious condition while the passenger sustained minor injuries.

On the following day, 18 March, in the morning, a bakkie with three people in it, crashed into the back of a moving truck on the R74 towards Kranskop. The impact of the crash entrapped one of the passengers from his knees down and Alert EMS, EMRS and Greytown Fire Department extracted him. Two were taken to Greytown Hospital.
