MANY promising, talented players took part in the annual Plennegy Tennis Tournament on December 2 and 3 at the Wembley College courts

RESULTS:

Boys’ singles U16 winner - Joshua Edgar; runner-up – Thomas Katzenellenbogen.

Girls’ singles U16 winner - Paige Schofield.

Boys’ singles U14 winner - Qaphela Mzila; runner-up – Adrian Hill.

Girls’ singles U14 winner - Emma Martins; runner-up Kristen Steyn.

Boys’ singles U12 boys winner - John Yeadon; runner-up – Thando Tshili.

Girls’ singles U12/U10 winner - Sibahle Mzila; runner-up – Shannon Meter.

Boys’ singles U10 winner - Yuvon Aheer; runner-up – Henry Yeadon.

girls’/boys’ singles U8 winner - Qwyn Francis; runner-up – Tobi Naidoo.

DOUBLES RESULTS:

boys’ U14 winners - Chyavan Aheer and Thomas Katzenellenbogen and runners-up Qaphela Mzila and Jack Yeadon.

girls’ doubles U12 winners - Sibahle Mzila and Azad Safla, runners-up Shannon Meter and Keana Mackay.

boys’ doubles U12/U10 winners - Brett Hill and John Yeadon and runners-up Yastil Aheer and Thando Tsili.

Result of one-point tournament:

U10/U12 winner -John Yeadon, runner-up - Sibahle Mzila.

U14/U16 winner - Thomas Katzenellenbogen, runner-up - Qaphela Mzila.
