BHEKIZWE Primary School grade seven pupils hosted a successful entrepreneurs Day on September 6. The rate of unemployment in South Africa is very high, so this topic teaches pupils to learn more about the needs and wants of consumers, SWOT analysis, setting of goals and also achieving them. More innovation and entrepreneurs are needed in our country, so pupils got an opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship skills and how to start their own businesses as businesses are the backbone of our economy. The pupils received some positive words from their EMS teacher as well as their departmental head, Mr Hlongwa, to keep them motivated and believing in themselves. Hlongwa told them to build their own dreams, visualise and actualise things in order for them to become successful entrepreneurs one day. He thanked the principal, Mrs Khumalo; teachers Mrs Dlamini, Mrs Dlomo, Ms Ndlovu, Ms Ncono, Ms Heals and Mr Hlophe; grade seven; grade R to grade six; the school governing body; and, most importantly, parents for all their support they have shown.
