OVER the years the Boxer Youth Leadership programme has become a highly anticipated event for pupils between the ages of 16 and 18. The annual five-day adventure and skills development programme positively empowers the minds of future leaders, entrepreneurs, teachers and doctors, etc., and has had a significant effect on those that were lucky enough to attend thus far.

The success of the programme is derived from feedback from the pupils who have attended over the years and this is what ensures its continuity.

Pupils will be enlightened by motivational talks and career-guidance presentations and more.

A team of experienced skills development facilitators will be present throughout the five days of fun, excitement and learning. Entry into the Boxer Youth Leadership Programme 2016 is as simple as it has been over its past 13 years of it existence.

If you are in grades 9, 10 or 11 and between the ages of 16 and 18 then you can enter this exciting competition and stand a chance of being selected as one of the 45 pupils who will spend a week at the Suela Zimbili Adventure Centre in Zinkwazi, KwaZulu-Natal between 29 March and 3 April.

If you meet the entry criteria mentioned above and would like to be part of the Boxer Youth Leadership Programme 2016, all you need to do is write a 500-word essay about which singer or music group inspires you, and why.
