LAST Friday, Mount Ernestina Combined School staff organised and staged a programme about awareness on abuse and killing of women to pupils.
Many issues were addressed, such as whom to inform when abused, to speak out when abused, not to walk alone in dark areas, and not to accept lifts from strangers.
In line with the national campaign on Sunday, female teachers wore black clothes and red lipstick. The message came over loud and clear, “abuse of women and children must stop”.
