Centre welcomes new feeding scheme donor

THE Umvoti Aids Centre has been privileged with the funding from the Department of Social Development in its programmes, especially the soup kitchen which provides a nutritious meal to many needy children from Ward 7. However, with the price hikes it was becoming difficult to provide nutritious meals to the growing number of children with the available budget.

Mascor Toyota’s General Manager, Stephen McIntyre, and his team were very welcoming and accommodating when we approached them for assistance, and for that we are humbled and grateful.

We are so pleased that the generous monthly contribution from Mascor Toyota towards our soup kitchen has assisted in ensuring that all children are fed from Monday to Thursday with a warm and wholesome meal.

Our gratitude goes to our new partners; the executive, management and staff of Mascor Toyota; for choosing to assist Umvoti Aids Centre in sustaining the provision of one of our core services.
