Clean-up day for Umvoti disabled school

2017-03-29 06:02

THE disabled children were very excited when the Umvoti Municipality and the EPWP rendered their services in cleaning up of their school and the maintenance of the recreational park, which is located in the Umvoti Aids Centre premises. The Municipal workers cut the grass and built a ramp for easy access from the classroom to the jungle gym for pupils.

The Municipal workers interacted with the children and spoke to them about the advantages of looking after their environment.

An Umvoti Aids spokesperson said: “We would like to thank the Umvoti Municipality and Skhumbuzo B. Dlamini and his team, the EPWP workers, for laying their hands in this clean-up operation, and for investing their time in the lives of our children.”
