Coddiwomple Kelly Hill Challenge

2017-11-15 06:00

IT was fun, challenging and scenically spectacular - the Coddiwomple Kelly Hill Challenge last weekend on Holme Lacy (Andrew and Vanessa Mason’s farm).

The route kept the individual 15km runners entertained as they summited Kelly Hill at the FM tower to reach Greytown’s highest point some 1 503m.

While the 15km runners set off at 8am the relay teams went off 15 minutes later to race on the scenic five kilometre route.

Four members in each team provided entertainment back at the start and finish to see, which teams were placed where in the field.

The Great Railroad Brewing Company set the scene for a relaxed afternoon with braai fires, swimming and paddling for those who chose to enjoy the rest of the day at the clubhouse.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Coddiwomple Trails Team this year in various races and sponsorship, with special mention to Aheers, Racefood, Moo2u, Build it and Origin Water. We look forward to a fun 2018 with lots of support all round.
