Colour4Kids fun day on Sunday

2016-08-24 06:00

THIS year, Letcee's annual fund-raising walk has received a makeover. To celebrate the end of winter and brighten up the weekend Colour4Kids, on Sunday 28 August, will be a perfect day in the country, filled with colour paint, food and fun.

The main event, starting at 11.30am will be a three-, five and 10-kilometre colour trail run-walk. The route will take walkers through groups of trees, along the river and back to the start. Colour bags will be on sale, and there may be a surprise or two along the way.

If you are an adrenalin junkie,-join the motorbike rides for adults and children, starting at 8am. Enjoy a relaxed Sunday afternoon lazing under an umbrella or catching a fish or two as you lunch next to the dam - delicious food and drinks will be on sale.
There will be a jumping castle and face paint to entertain the children as well. Funds raised on the day will contribute to Letcee's projects running in the neighbouring communities of Eshane, Mbuba and Matimatolo.
These projects support vulnerable children and empower families and communities to build a safe, supporting environment in which the children can learn.

Gates open at 10am when registration, at R50 per person, will open.

We look forward to seeing you at The Jondol, on the Mispah road on Sunday.
