CRANHAM Primary School Grade 7 pupils had a special farewell to mark their move to high school with a visit to Durban.

The trip not only enabled pupils to explore new areas, but also gain knowledge.

They stayed at the Impala holiday flats.

Their first visit was to uShaka where they saw the Sea World animals. Then they went to the SABC - Ukhozi FM radio station.

The group received a warm welcome from Centre Court personnel at lunch time, and this of course, was followed by lots of fun on the beach.

The Grade 7’s thanked their teacher Miss D.G. Gumede who played a role in making the trip a success, as well as all who donated to the school, including Mr Mnikathi from Khapela Enterprise.

Pupils also thanked the principal Mrs M. Zondi and the SGB for permitting the trip.

Pupils and school personnel commented positively about the driver, Mr Akim Zondi, who transported all and brought them home safe and sound.
