ON Saturday, October 27 the Greytown U11 and U13 side travelled to Drakensview.

The U11 played a good game of cricket against Drakensview. The boys won on the last over, making 72 runs. The boys had fun and were well behaved.

The U13 boys won the toss and selected to field. A number of early wickets helped Greytown restrict Drakensview’s run rate.

Ruben Green took a total of five wickets, including a hat trick. Aphiwe Nzimakwe also took three wickets.

Drakensview was bowled out on the eighth over, making a total of 38 runs. With the gained advantage, Greytown seized control and passed the required score in the fourth over with the loss of no wickets, winning the game by 10 wickets. Well done to the side.

Thank you to Mrs Shaikh for the refreshments which helped us in the heat.
