A KYOKOSHIN karate sensei from Nhlalakahle, Lungisani Mabaso, wants to share his love of karate with the Greytown community.

Mabaso, who holds a black belt in karate, is inviting Greytown youth and adults to join his training centre, UAC Kyokoshinkaikan Karate Dojo.

“We are inviting people who are interested in becoming karatekas to come and join our club.

“All interested participants aged between five and 75, both men and women, are urged to join our karate classes. We reopened our dojo from January 6 after closing for the December holidays.”

Karate classes for juniors are held from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm from Monday to Friday while classes for adults are from 6 pm to 7.30 pm from Monday to Friday.

“I would like to invite pupils from St Davids, Greytown Junior, Kamaland Creche and other schools that may be interested to take part in our karate classes.

“UAC Kyokoshinkaikan Karate Dojo is affiliated to the International Karate Organisation and Karate South Africa. The skills that we offer at our dojo include self-defence, building self-confidence, leadership, discipline, self-control, and other skills,” Mabaso said.

For more information about the classes, visit the Kyokushinkaikan Karate Club Facebook page or contact Mabaso at 072 153 0301.
