Early dead-lines loom

2017-03-29 06:03

IT is that upside down time of the year again when due to public holidays Greytown Gazette deadlines almost double for the issues of 19 April and 3 May.

Good Friday falls on 14 April with Family Day on 17 so the deadline for the issue of 19 April is actually the previous Wednesday 12 April.

I know it’s crazy but the printers are not working on Good Friday or Family Day – so cut-off time for display advertisements for 19 April is 12pm on 12 April and for classifieds 12pm on 13 April.

It would be greatly appreciated if copy from schools, sports clubs and general news could be submitted by the same deadline – that is 12pm, Thursday 13 April. Photographs would be much appreciated.

Absolute deadline for weekend sport reports is 9am Monday 17 April.

In advance your co-operation is greatly appreciated.

The crazy deadlines, but no quite so for the issue 3 May will be published in next week’s Greytown Gazette.
