EMGAGA Primary School pupils and staff really appreciated the visit to the school by an Umvoti Disaster Management team and Mondi Forest personnel to talk about disaster management.

The team spoke on human-made disasters such as fires, and natural disasters such as lightning strikes, floods and drought.

The teams told the children about early warning signs, what not to do and what to do in a disaster. After the talks, pupils were asked questions and those who gave a correct answer received a small gift.

The school expressed its thanks to Mrs Mhlongo, the Umvoti Municipality and Mondi.
