ON Saturday 8 July, Enhlalakahle Youth Day Celebrations took place at the Nhlalakahle Sports Ground organised by Ward 7 Councillor Vukani Vic Sibisi and Projects Republic.
The event was designed to raise awareness, to combat social ills and encourage togetherness and healthy lifestyles within the community.

Activities throughout the day included aerobics, volleyball, soccer (11-a-side and 5-a-side) and the Nhlalakahle Legends soccer match.
A spokesman for Project Republic expressed the organisation’s appreciation to the sponsors and others: “We would like to extend our gratitude to the Department of Sport and Recreation and  officials for sponsoring the event, our partners Umvoti Community Tourism Organisation and all spectators who came in their numbers to support the event and to encourage the youth to participate in sports within the community. - Project Republic.
