FORMER pupils of Nyokana Secondary held a reunion celebration at Tholinhlanhla Primary recently.

Former teachers who graced the occasion included Advocate President Mongameli Ntshangase, guest speaker Mano Mhlongo, Thokozile Hlombe, Rachel Zuma, and Daphney Nomagugu Memela.

Ntshangase encouraged all present to keep active and healthy.

A number of pupils came from different parts of the country to reminisce on the memories of being part of the Old Nyokana Secondary. A moment of silence in honour of teachers and pupils who have passed on was also observed.

The organisers thanked sponsors Aheer’s Supermarket, Min Cash Market, Dr Shaik, Rev B Nxumalo, Tholinhlanhla Primary and the anonymous donors who all worked tirelessly to make it a memorable occasion.
