SATURDAY presented us with eight bowlers on the greens, but 38 came to dinner for the annual awards evening. Thanks to Karen and her helpers the dinner was a great and socially enjoyed.

Four bowlers supported Wartburg's Pat Trimbone trips fund-raiser.

This is a drawn trips where each players meets 18 other players throughout the day in fun bowls.

Bryan Paul, Margaret Douglass, Wolfie Lubowizki and Schalk Jacobs all had a fun day.

The league match was a win for Greytown men who played against Maritzburg on Saturday. Tony Smith, Jacques Minnaar, Chris Fischer and Andre Robert cruised to victory.

Sannie Balzer and Erika Fischer had a glorious day in the Niba pairs winning their games and are now through to the finals - good luck.
